Then
Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded you.
Matthew 28:18-20
Involvement
in world missions has been a major part of the vision of Liberty
Church since it began . Each year, missionaries from around
the world gather at Liberty Church for our annual Missions conference.
In addition
to the conference, we are blessed to be able to send teams and
individuals on short-term missions trips. Each year we are able
to offer missions trips to Mexico to work with the Stilwells.
Two different types of trip are offered from time to time -
outreach trips and work trips. These trips are organized in
partnership with other local churches and give our members the
opportunity to see missions in action first hand. Our next trip
will be an outreach trip in October of 2010.
Our
2010 Missions Conference is scheduled for Friday, April 2 -
Sunday, April 4. Our guest speaker will be Doug Gehman- Director
of Globe International.
